Need to register to vote?
Or update your voter registration?
You must register or change your registration by March 2nd. Forms are available online at http://ltgov.state.ak.us/elections/regapp.php. Or you may register in person at any municipal library; the Division of Motor Vehicles; the State of Alaska, Division of Elections (in its new location at 2525 Gambell Street, Suite 100); the Municipal Clerk's Office (located at 632 W. 6th Avenue in Room 250); or call or email us and we’ll send you a registration form.
If you’ll be 18 years of age by April 1st, you may register up to 90 days before the election. Be sure to register no later than March 2, 2007.
Need to know where to vote?
Vote at the polling place designated for your precinct. To find your polling place, call the State's automated polling place locator at 269-8683; you will need your social security number or your voter number (on your voter registration card). You may also go to MyNeighborhood on the Muni’s web site and look up your polling place using your street address (http://neighborhood.muni.org/) (check it out; it has cool information about our neighborhoods).
Polling places are listed at http://www.muni.org/assembly2/PollingPlaces.cfm.
